Jennifer Chamberlin is a contemporary and abstract visual artist working primarily in the medium acrylic and mural painting. Jennifer also works in pastels, charcoal, collage, graphic design, and general crafting. She has been involved in the arts scene in Bremerton as a visual artist, poet, musician and small arts event coordinator since 1997. Jennifer is inspired by the dichotomy between the human experience and the natural world. This inspiration is carried not only into her visual artwork but also into her poetry and other written work. She writes in a variety of forms ranging from slam poetry and stream of consciousness to short story. Her writing influences are contemporary poets including W.S. Merwin, Maya Angelou and Suheir Hammad. Jennifer currently serves as a board member with the West Sound Arts Council, a non-profit whose mission is to make art accessible to the public and help local artists grow in their craft. Jennifer also serves as a board commissioner with the City of Bremerton Arts Commission. She is the founder of the new project, Bremerton Interactive Murals through her business Unraveled Art. Jennifer is available for commission art, murals, and poetry. She is also available for logo design and custom pins.
