Q: What inspires you about Bremerton?⁠
A: Obviously the scenery is unbeatable. Olympic mountains to the west, Cascades to the east, water and trees and life everywhere. But also, the openness and inclusiveness of the art community here. It's an encouraging place to be an artist. ⁠

Q: What drew you to your medium?⁠
A: I work mostly with acrylic paint, and I love the instant gratification of applying color to a canvas. It wakes up my brain in a way that nothing else does. I also love experimentation with different techniques and tools. Acrylic paint can be so versatile when used in different ways, so it never gets old. ⁠
