Q: What inspires you about Bremerton?

A: What blows me away about the Bremerton culture is that local businesses, makers and creators are so GENUINELY supportive of each other! There is an abundance mindset here and an understanding that when one business succeeds, our entire market succeeds! I’m so inspired by the incredible, creative people who intentionally nurture this culture.

Q: What drew you to your medium?

A: Clay has always been therapeutic for me. Creating wheel thrown ceramics requires absolute focus - it is almost meditative. Everything else fades away and all that exists is the piece in front of me. It makes sense that working with clay is so grounding. It is literally part of the earth.

Q: Where do you find your inspiration?

A: Inspiration is not something that is fixed or tangible for me. I do know that the more time I spend out in nature, searching for crabs on the beach or foraging for berries in the woods, the more excited I am to get into my studio and create.

I am also super passionate about running a sustainable business, both socially and environmentally. I run a low waste studio, use 100% recycled, backyard-compostable packaging and 10% of my profits back into our community via The Coffee Oasis.

Q: Where can we find your art?

A: You can always find my work on my website and my Instagram.
